The Mysterious Blue-Hunting Journey
Imagine waking up every morning in the sea of clouds. Staring at the horizon from your room’s balcony, the extravagant lobby loft, or the swimming pool.
A non-commercialized Miao Traditional Village named Long Tang was established many hundred years ago at the far-end corner of Qiandongnan, Guizhou, which was once one of the poorest villages found in China.
Longtang Targeted Poverty Alleviation & Revitalization Project housed in Leishan County of Southeastern Guizhou China, focuses on sustaining livelihood of the local Miao people through bridging their ancient practice with modern execution, preserving their unique art and cultural heritage products harvesting from nature or handmade. In the hope to attract the returning of younger generations, while sharing folktales and ancient songs with the world travelers and global audiences.
Cultural Tourism and Hospitality are parts of the project. And our team had built an extravagant beautiful landmark on the hillside to seek global attention, leading the opportunity for visitors to extend their staycation right next in the village. Our very kind chief architect Mr. Meng had managed to pull through the limited construction budget and with every support from the local people and villagers involved, we won a key award in Muse Design Awards (2021 Edition).
